It is based in Malaysia, but reaches out to the whole ASEAN region and the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #c72c2c;\"><strong>VISION AND MISSION STATEMENT<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Women\u2019s Institute of Management, Malaysia, a <strong>Non Profit Women\u2019s NGO<\/strong>, is committed to deliver all its Educational and Social Development programmes and activities by achieving the highest level of excellence and professionalism. Bhg. Tan Sri Dato&#8217; Napsiah Omar, then Minister of National Unity and Social Development, Malaysia and Y. Bhg. Dato&#8217; Dr. Nellie Tan-Wong, Managing Director of Wintrac Sdn Bhd, the Malaysian Affiliate of Women&#8217;s World Banking, New York<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #c72c2c;\"><strong>PHILOSOPHY<\/strong><\/span><br>WIM&#8217;s Philosophy is to seek to create a positive image of women and to promote the leadership of women in all sectors, forging the pursuit for Professionalism and Excellence through ongoing training, brainstorming and dialogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WIM reinforces its determination to promote partnership between men and women for the development of the total community at local, national and global levels. WIM undertakes to implement all its Programmes and Projects with a caring spirit.
